Urgent IT Rescue
Locked out, email down, or someone just left with the keys. VXSec diagnoses fast, gets systems working, and finishes the job properly: admin access in the owner's hands, every step documented.
- Fee
- Fixed in writing before work starts, based on what is broken and the systems involved.
- Speed
- Priority scheduling, usually same or next business day. Status at every step.
- Output
- Working systems, owner-held admin access, and a dated log of what was found and fixed.
Two kinds of urgent
Something is broken. You are locked out of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, mail is bouncing or silently not arriving, or a domain, DNS, or provider change took email down. VXSec regains admin control through the proper Microsoft or Google ownership process, fixes mail flow and logins, and restores service.
Someone just left. A resignation, a firing, a contractor dispute, or a partner exit, and nobody is completely sure what that person can still reach. VXSec sweeps every agreed system, documents what was found, and closes access with your approval, in an order that will not break your operations.
When to call
- Locked out of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and the only admin is gone, unreachable, or was never really known.
- Email is down, bouncing, landing in spam, or silently not arriving after a domain, DNS, or provider change.
- Your previous IT person or provider left, retired, or the relationship ended badly, and they still hold the keys.
- A password, MFA device, or recovery phone that everything depended on is no longer available.
- The domain, website, or mail is registered under an ex-employee's or old vendor's personal account.
- A departure with broad access, admin roles, or client relationships was never properly closed out.
How a rescue runs
- Diagnose. A short call plus whatever access exists. You get a plain-language read of what is actually broken and a fixed fee.
- Stabilize. Admin control recovered, mail flow and logins fixed, service restored. For departures: everything the person could reach, listed with evidence before anything changes.
- Transfer, then close. Ownership of files, inboxes, automations, and client access moves to named owners first. Removal comes last, with your approval on every item.
- Document. A dated log of what was found, what was changed, and what to watch. Useful for the next provider, HR, insurance, or just sleeping at night.
Why the order matters
Pulling access in the wrong order breaks things. Automations fail when their owner's account is disabled, files disappear when accounts are deleted before ownership transfers, and client relationships get damaged when access vanishes mid-project. VXSec sequences the work so ownership moves first, dependencies are checked, and removal comes last, with every step logged.
After the rescue
Most rescues reveal the same thing: the systems worked, but nobody owned them. The natural next step is a fixed-fee Systems and Access Cleanup of accounts, access, and licenses, credited toward the Outside IT Plan if you keep us on. That makes the rescue the last emergency instead of the first of many.
